In this kick ass thrill ride vampire survival film from director Robert Rodriguez Valve's Left for Dead meets the vampire world of Dracula. This horror/action thrill ride is gunning it for another one of Robert Rodrigueze's best films. The plot, The gecko brothers played by the infamous Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney are on the run. After killing numerous people and officers during their road to escape the brothers take a father, son and daughter hostage for quick and easy access pass the mexican border. The brothers while in mexico with the family take refuge in a bar known as the Titty Twister so that they can meet with an associate who can garuntee them freedom and wealth. A local bar fight while waiting turns on the dinner is served bell for the vampires and it is a battle for survival untill dawn.  This movie was a great vampire survival movie and was definately a new look for Robert Roderiguez back when it was released. This movie still is because there is not another movie made by him that has vampires in it so it stands alone and powerfull. When i bought this movie i went on a hunch form my friend and one review from a known cridic on the back of the dvd. I do not regret buying this movie because it had all the boobs, guns, blodd, and vampires i needed. Quentin Tarantino hasn't always been my favorite director but this movie along woth a few of his others made me like him a a little more. When you put two creative minds like these together you get a movie like this, action packed and full of badass death scenes. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which the gecko brothers are in a gunfight with a storeowner and they torch the place causing an awesome explosiion. What really made this scene badass is when the gecko brothers walked away from the explosion with not even the slightest worry of being knocked over or hit by debree. This movie's cast was excellent featuring people such as, Harvey Keitel, Fred Williamson, Danny Trejo, Cheech Marin, Kelly Preston, Salma Hayek and Juliette Lewis. Along with George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino the cast was amazing. I always love Roert Rodriguez movies and this is one that should not be missed.
