This movie has got to be the scariest movie of the year. Paranormal activity returns with what you would call a sequal or prequal. With a budget of around 15,000 dollars paranormal activity instantly bacame a horror hit. So then started the new dawn of a new breed of horror, paranormal activity 2. The budget of paranormal activity 2, around 3 million dollars has the budget to add in more freaky jumps and scarier scens than the first. The movie revolves around a family of 4 who live in a house with a spirit or demon in it. The mother of the family is the sister of katie, micah's wife in the first paranormal activity movie. The movie takes place 60 days befor paranormal activity is shot or happens. With a bigger budget and a bigger cast you have to be ready for more jumps, cursing and best of all being dragged down an empty flight of stairs. Katie who returned from the first paranormal activity movie near the last 5 minutes of the film delivered a shocking ending that leaves you breathless. The fact that katie killed micah in the first because she was possesed is one thing but it would explain why her sister had the demon. It could possibly be just moving around the family or just looking for the right host. My favorite jump scene in this scare your ass off sequel/prequel is when the mother is at home alone in the kitchen reading a magazine when suddenly all the cabinets burst open and a loud bang is heard out of the calm silence. The way it's described  might not seem scary but see it in theaters not at home for yourself i promise you will jump. This director finally got the job done, not saying the first director didn't but this sequeal/prequal was far superior than the first.
