This supernatural ghost story from director Sam Raimi is a superb one indeed. I honestly didn't think it would be that good of a movie when i saw the trailer but it wasn't as i expected. The plot, Christine Brown a loan officer has a great life but one day as she is at work an old woman named Sylvia Ganush asks for an extension on her loan and is rejected by Christine. Christine does this so she can prove that she has the guts to say no to a person so that the promotion she wants is seen as suitable for her. Christine is then cursed by Ms.Ganush meaning that in three days she is going to be dragged down to hell. I thought this movie was a new look for Sam Raimi and it turned out to be a rather good one. I jumped a few times during this movie just for the fact that things would just pop up at any given time. There were moments while i was watching this film that made me feel disgusted. I had to turn away or i would barf. My favorite scene in this movie is the scene in which Christine fights ms. Ganush in the car and epicly wins but at the same time loses because she gets cursed. I honestly loved this movie when i first saw it because it was a break from all the stupid supernatural movies where the ghosts would levetate you and look like casper. No not this movie Sam Raimi actually knew what he was doing during this one. This movie is truly a Sam Raimi film that should not be missed. Please view this great film from the director of the spideman movies 1-3.
