This film is definately a must buy if you like comedy films. I rented this film not knowing if it was going to be good or not but it left me with this urge to view it again because it was laugh out loud hilarious. The plot, Jonah hill plays a music producer who is assigned by his boss, sean diddy combs to get the legendary aldous snow played by Russel brand so that he may play a final concert at the greek theater. Thus comes the name of the film ''GET HIM TO THE GREEK''. There were so many laugh out loud moments in this film such as the scene in which Russel brand and Jonah hill are running away from diddy and diddy is hit by a car in the backround. The scene sounds not that funny but in the mist of getting hit by the car diddy continued to run after the car. From disgusting to insightful this film can be gross at some points. There was a scene in which Jonah hill had to shove heroin up his behind so that he may smuggle it onto the plane. It was gross because as this was happening there was disgusting noises that defined what he was doing. This movie also had a reference to the film 'FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL'. The reference was when Russel brand was watching the television and he sees a show on called blind medicine and it starred Sarah Marshall. Russel brand then comes out and says 'I THINK I HAD SEX WITH HER'. This film was hilarious and disgusting at the same time. If you like Jonah hill and Russel brand and you love comedy films then GET HIM TO THE GREEK is the film for you.
