This riveting horror/thriller is one that should be viewed. This movie was amazing and it kept me guessing till the end to the point where i thought i knew it but i was wrong, This movie is like if shutter island met vacancy and they combined into a better movie, not to say Shutter Island was better than Vacancy or this film. The plot, Ten strangers are inconvieniently trapped in a motel during a storm with a string of murder and mystrey that will change them forever. This film basically follows one man 24 hours before his execution baing put into a trial to decide wether he should be set free. While this case is going on so is the story of the strangers stuck in a nevada motel. This movie had a lot of twists and turns in it and when i finally understood everything i was amazed at how they put it together. The movie goes out and tells you the last twist but then it tricks you there is a final trick at the last minute of the movie which definately qualifies this movie as an "A" picture. I loved that everyone in the cast was somehow related but at the same time they were still mysterious because everyone is hiding something. The twists and even the death scenes are good. The lead actor John Cusack plays Ed a limo driver who is driving an actress(Rebecca De Mornay) to a another location during a storm when Ed hits a person on the road and is forced to seek medical attention in the motel. The cast was great with figures such as Ray Liotta, Alfred Molina, William Lee Scott and Jake Busey. The good cast mixed with the mystifying plot did not just amaze me it was stunning to see that knowledge and paying attention are the only things that can keep you unconfused during this one. This movie is definately a movie i would by on Blu Ray. From director James Mangold comes this mystery/drama thriller. Please view this great film.
