This new mind bending Zack Snyder film is definately his most action packed one yet. This film has all the necessary components to make it a kick ass, sexy action film that is not afraid to mess with your mind. If you are expecting the typical action movie with a happy ending i suggest you change your expectations because this film is one that is gonna blow you away. The film has the sexiest woman casted that i have ever seen in an action movie involving females. I honestly had been waiting to see this film for about 6 months since i had been introduced the trailer by a friend of mine. While viewing this film i had doubts because of the previous anticipated movie that i watched "Battle Los Angeles" which turned out to be dog shit compared to this. about halfway in i already knew what grade it would recieve i just wanted to see if it could keep it up. With every cell in my brain i wanted to thank Zack Snyder for bringing to the big screen an epic action movie that is not just typical action and so forth, The movie had a strong story to it and it's concept was in a way highly intelligent. The plot of this awesome guns blazing film is as follows. Emily Browning plays Babydoll an emotionally depressed girl after seeing her mother and sister die with the result of being attacked by her disgusting piece of man that she calls her stepfather. Furious that he did not inherit his wifes fortune he throws her only living daughter into a mental institution where other orphans are kept. While in the institution doctor Vera Gorski played by Carla Gugino tels every one of her girls that their imagination can set them free, that the world they are in right now they control. This sets up for the rest of the movie.Babydoll has met the other girls Sweet Pea played by Abbie Cornish, Blondie played by Vanessa Hudgens, Rocket played by Jena Malone and Amber played by Jamie Chung in turn these girls will all team up to get the requirements needed to escape. These 5 items are things such as Fire, A Map, A Knife, A Key and the fifth item is a mystery. I loved the C.G.I in this film it made me feel as if it was taking place world war 2 or that it was taking place in a dungeon with a fire breathing dragon. The C.G.I. is just the start of what blew me away, the acting was better than expected, the action sequences were over the top in a good way and the story was strong and the ending blew my mind. Quoting the tagline "You Will Be Unprepared" and i know i was. The girls were highly attractive in this movie a change from your average male war movie. Zack Snyder is a director who you can trust to take a graphic novel and put it onto the big screen with positive feedback or write a story and play it out so that it is intelligent yet great and action packed, This film's imagination sequences were epic because of all the amazing action going on, the stunts were amazing and i loved how in order to get the items Babydoll had to distract the person with the item by dancing, we dont see her dance but while the action is happening in her imagination is when she's dancing and when she conquers her enemy in her imagination she conquers her problem in reality. I loved this movie and cannot wait to see what it will look like on Blu-Ray because of all the great special effects. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which The girl's are trying to get The Map from the warden's office but to do this they must got through an entire world war 2 team of nazi zombies to get to the map on the other side. There were so many huge guns my eyes widened with each frame, i mean the giant robot that Amber uses against the fighter planes and zombies on the ground was epic. The C.G.I in this scene was amazing and i literally was getting to see that all these girls were bad ass from this point on. I loved this Zack Snyder film and cannot wait for his next film a reboot of "Superman". Please watch this mind bending action film that has an ending that will make you have to watch it again. It's Inception meets Kill Bill.
