This film from director Tony Scott is near one of his most thrilling and suspenseful film. I loved the movie straight from the beginning just for the fact that Tony Scott had finally decided to take a great actor John Travolta and put him in a movie that his character is bad ass and doesn't care about anything. Denzel Washington was great and his performance was one that was definately notable. The film had a great balance of drama, suspense, and thrills. I watched this movie knowing a little about it, My expectations weren't that high but after seeing that film i automatically knew that John Travolta still had his powerful mojo of being bad ass. The film itself left me with stunned with how great it actually was. The plot follows a 6-train subway car that is being held hostage by hijackers in New York city for 10 million dollars. One of the hijackers named Ryder played by John Travolta is talking to a train dispatcher named Walter Garber played by Denzel Washington. Ryder talks to Garber throughout the film and it evidently leads to a race to get Ryder the money within one hour or else for every minute its late one hostage will die. The film has a simple plot but there are also some twist's and turns as well. I loved the way Tony Scott made this movie and look forward to seeing his future films. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which John Travolta and Denzel washington are in a position where Washington has to shoot Travolta within 10 seconds or else Travolta will shoot him. I will not reveal what happens but it is the most suspenseful part of the film. This movie is great and is to be viewed with high expectations. Tony Scott has always chosen Denzel Washington as an actor in a lot of his films and he is a good choice because his performance was great in this film. Please watch this movie from director Tony Scott.
