This past year i have wanted a good bank robbery movie with drama. I viewed Takers with the expectations that it would be good i was highly disappointed. My good bank robbery urge was not satisfied until i watched this movie because it had all the right elements to make it a great movie not just flat out bank robberies and running from the cops but actually showing what the robbers face throughout jobs and their lives at home. This film is one of my favorite dramas that actually show scenes of fullout action. The plot revolves around Doug Macray, Claire Keesey, James Coughlin and F.B.I agent Adam Frawley. Doug Macray played by Ben Affleck volunteers to watch and see if Rebecca Hall's character Claire had seen anything that she could tell the F.B.I that could identify them. Basically the movie is a dramatic love story between Doug and Claire with a little bit of bank robbery's in between, I loved the way that the bank robbery's were put together becaause they not only robbed the banks with the usual fashion. The bank robbers dressed up in costumes that made them look badass while shooting. I can say that even though Ben Affleck is an actor/director that is usually frowned upon or deemed terrible such as Matthew Mcconaughey i liked him as a director in Gone Baby Gone and i loved him as an actor and a director in The town. This film made the personality of each and every person involved so you can see what they are like underneath. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which Doug and his crew rob an armored truck and are dressed up as nuns and wearing masks. The costumes were brilliantly executed and it made the scene more badass when they were pinned down in a load of gunfire. The last 20 minutes of the film were the best because it had the most action throughout the entire film. This movie was great and had drama mixed in with moments of action at the right time and it had a great plot to it. Good job Benn Affleck you have made your comeback. I own the blu-ray extended cut of this film and it is about 30 minutes longer but even with the extended time the movie is still a great work of art by director Ben Affleck.

GRADE- A
