This film from director Rodrigo Cortes is one that should be skipped if the idea of staying in one place for 90 minutes doesnt annoy you.  Ryan Reynolds is back in action as he brings back his great acting techniques in this 90 minute cluastrophobic thriller. This film didnt necessarily annoy me about being stuck in one place for 90 minutes but what annoyed me about it was that Paul Conroy Reynold's character was ignorant for the first half of the film. I wanted to literally fast forward through some parts because of how ignorant he was about being rescued. The plot is revolved around a u.s contractor who is buried in a coffin six feet underground held for ransom. The terrorist take Paul Conroy the u.s contractor and demand that he get them 10 million dollars or he stays buried in the ground hence the name "BURIED".  this film had some really suspensfull moments in it such as the scene in which Paul awakes from a short nap and finds a snake in the coffin with him and must dispose of him usiing his resouces which are very limited. The battle to kill the snake eventually leads into a fire that breaks out in the coffin and u dont know if Paul will be burned to a crisp or will he save himself somehow. The film also had some great emotional scenes such as when Paul was certain that he was going to die and he rejected the people trying to help him. This movie is very great at doing suspense or even drama. My favorite scene in this movie is the scene in which paul has to cut of one of his fingers and make a video of it to send to the terrorist's. I am not sadistic in this sense but i know that this scene showed that Paul was willing to do anything to get out of the coffin. This movie is great and is greatly reccomended from me for those people who like Ryan Reynolds or suspense films than Buried is the film for you.
