In this masterpiece by director Zack Snyder superheroes are outlawed by society. It is a truly epic piece of work with cutting edge action sequences. The plot, a group of heroes known as the Watchmen are outlawed by society because of their unlawful conduct. Some of the members of the group do not take well to retirement so they may continue to save people. But when one their own is murdered  the group will stop at nothing to find the killer and protect themselves as well as the city at all costs. My favorite scene in this movie is the scene in which Rorschach  played by Jackie Earle Haley is fending off the cops in an apartment building alone  while visiting a retired villian and an original informant. This sequence was put together well. The action throughout the movie is amazing. It was capturing to me that the extended version explained certain things that the theatrical version didn't. I can sit through this three hour movie over and over again because the plot was so original and i am so interested in retired superheroes and their urge to still save others. The reason i like this movie is because this movie is not like spiderman or batman tht just show the good things they do and their small problems. This film shows what superheroes go through in life and what other issues they go through instead of fighting villians. I love this movie from director Zack Snyder and i can't ait for more films just like this or even better. When you make a great movie like this you have to ask yourslef what did i just do. Is this movie good or bad?? That's what you ask. This movie was epic it had all the action i could want in a Zack Snyder film and i can't wait to see more of his new films.
