This film from director Todd Philips is one that is a great edition to being a comedic director. This film has the comedy of "The Hangover" but the story of an original movie named "Road Trip". I honestly had not so great expectations for this film because of the reviews. I was absolutely wrong, this movie was hilarious not gut busting hilarious but a sort of will make you laugh in the moment funny. I loved how Todd Philips brought back one of my favorite comedian Zach Galifianakis because i find him to be extremely hilarious just for the fact that he makes small comments that are just plain hilarious.  The plot is just plain original for a Todd Philips film. The plot, Robert Downey Jr. plays Peter Highman a classy Architect who is on his way to see his wife Sarah Highman played by Michelle Monoghan who is pregnant and is ready to deliver. On his way he meets a man named Ethan Tremblay played by Zach Galifianakis who's is on his way to Hollywood because he is an actor trying to be on television. They meet in a very weird way and when Ethan gets Peter on a No-Fly list Peter has no choice but to deal with Ethan on the road trip to Hollywood so he can get there in time to see his baby being born. I thought this film was very funny but that it did not equal the comedy of The Hangover. I enjoyed the fact that the film was quick and straight to the comedy. Even though many thought it was overly mediocre i think that it is worth buying and i would watch it twice. Todd Philips did a great job in this film and did not forget to make a cameo appearance in this film as a drug dealer's boyfriend. The film itself is hilarious and i would recommend it to people who have enjoyed films like "The Hangover", "Old School" or "Road Trip". The film has the comedy and story of two of these films and i thought that it is a great edition to his comedic directing career. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which Zach G. rescues Robert Downey Jr. from the border control who have arrested him for having drugs on him. This scene is hilarious because in the sense that since Ethan is an actor he goes into acting mode and pretends to be a commando. I enjoyed watching this film and do not regret buying it. I recommend this movie to all people who love to laugh and who like Todd Philip movies.
