This Tony Scott film is truly a new direction for him and it is a great one indeed. This movie was so gripping and intense at one point i thought my leg would pop off from all the jittering. The plot, A train conductor and an engineer are loading up cargo trains when they encounter an unmanned train filled with chemicals headed for a city. The train became unmanned because one of the train conductors at the train depot, Dewey(Ethan Suplee) jumps out of his train to hit a switch when the controls inside the train move into the upward position and accelerate's the unmanned train. I personally had high expectations when i first saw the trailer and once i sat through it i was not dissapointed. This movie had so many gripping parts such as when the two men aboard the train had to slow down the other train so they could make it across an elevated lift without de-railing. The train conducter is played by Chris Pine and the engineer played by Denzel Washington. This movie was a great film and wasn't boring for not a minute. I personally would watch it again because i liked it so much. My favorite scene in this movie was the scene in which the train was accelerating so fast that the man that was dropped on top of it by helicopter was swung and crashed into the windshield of another cart. This was an incredible sequence and it kept me wanting more. I also loved that this movie was inspired by TRUE EVENTS. It was the first Tony Scott film i had seen that was inspired by anything but a script. This movie was great and it is definately a movie that should not be missed.
