This film will go down in my book as one of the most disturbing films i have ever seen in my entire history of watching movies. Behind Cannibal Holocaust but in front of The Human Centipede this film was shocking and very disturbing. I watched this movie with a friend that knew nothing of it and i had mediocre expectations for the movie. I was left shocked at how disturbing it actually was. This film is not based on any real killer or murderer but it still sends a horrifying chill up your spine. The movie follows the killer known as "The Water Street Butcher" as he documents every last one of his murders before and after he kills them. The film is a combination of the actual murder tapes and what the police and coroners office have to say about things. It is basic and simple but it is one of the creepiest movies i have ever seen. The movie had some very disturbing scenes in it such as when a woman known as Cheryl Dempsey is captured and tortured in the killers basement. This film should be viewed with caution if the viewer is someone who cannot handle extreme torture or violence. This film sent the most chilling feeling up my spine because of its disturbing images and because of the content shown. One disturbing scene is a scene in which the killer finds a little girl playing with her dolls on the lawn and he begins to speak with her before knocking her out with the camera, putting her in his trunk, raping her then killing her. This movie is very disturbing and i in fact have trouble staying alone places anymore because of what this film showed me. I will not go on explaining much more but just know that this film is highly disturbing and should be viewed with caution. I would also like to add that the movie ended with this creepy vibe and it deserved to be not shown in all theaters because of how creepy it is. The film is a great film once you look past the sadistic parts of it.
