This hilariously similar sequel to the ever so funny first was gut busting in so many ways. I watched this movie with some friends of mine and i had my doubts due to the mediocre reviews it was getting. My expectations weren't that high but after seeing it my opinion changed alot. This film had more drama and raunchier comedy than the first. Going back to previous raunchy films such as "Hot Tub Time Machine" and "Harold And Kumar:Escape From Guantanamo Bay" This film was equally as raunchy if not more. The term Raunchy means basically when a film has something very pushy for its rating and showing comedy that might disgust some people. The movie had so many new laughs to it and the mystery of the missing person as usual is suspenseful in some ways. This film had all the drugs, humor, and disgusting revelations that a Hangover movie would need. The plot to this raunchfest is as follows. The wolf pack is back in this stunning new adventure in which Stu Price played by Ed Helms is getting married to a beautiful Thai woman named Lauren played by Jamie Chung. Stu is deciding to have the wedding in Thailand along with his friends accompanying him Phil played by Bradley Cooper, Doug played by Justin Bartha and Alan played by the infamous Zach G. Stu is heading to his room with Lauren when suddenly Phil proposes to have a drink down by the beach. Stu agrees and as Phil, Stu, Alan, Doug and Teddy give their toast the night fades away and as morning appears Stu, Alan and Phil awake in a disgusting hotel room in Bangkok with no recollection of the night before. Stu has gotten a tattoo, Alan's head has been shaved, Phil is normal as usual and Lauren's younger brother Teddy is missing. The film is hilarious in every way although i have to say it did amount to the first one in comedy but it did way better with the drama. This film took the "I Dont Remember What The Fuck Happened Last Night" and turned it into a raunchfest. It is highly disgusting in certain parts such as when Stu, Phil and Alan enter a strip club in Bangkok and find out what and who Stu did the night before. This scene is disgusting because it involves one of the raunchiest secrets in the movie. This film also did very heavy on nudity such as when Chow is found laying on the floor of their hotel room naked. The mystery of what the wolf pack has done the night before is very questionable and keeps you wondering until the end of the film. This film also has the infamous Hangover pictures at the end which are gut busting such as the controversial picture involving Mr. Chow, some rope and a gun. The film pushed the limits of the MPAA due to its nudity, heavy drug use and pervasive language. In my opinion this film should have been given an NC-17 rating. My favorite scene in this film is the scene in which Alan has a flashback of the night before and it shows a kid version of everyone in the wolf pack doing the adult things that happened the night before. This scene was hilarious with the song "Imma Be" by The Black Eyed Peas in the background the wolf pack kid version is rioting, drinking , doing drugs and smoking it up. This scene and the whole movie in turn was hilarious and i highly recommend it to fans of the Hangover. This film has a drug dealing monkey, A no memory wolf pack and a raunchfest and crazy memories that will rock your world. As Paul Giammati says in the film "Bangkok Has Them Now".
